The Long Way is a collection of free, self-guided motorcycle challenges built around roads and destinations we believe are worth seeking out
Signing up costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Choose a challenge, start wherever you want, and finish whenever you can. A weekend, a few weeks, or an entire riding season—it all counts.
Along the way, you’ll experience routes that locals love, destinations you might have ridden past, and a few places you may never have found on your own.
If you finish, share your accomplishment on social media and claim your finisher shirt. Riders who rent from Engineered 4 Adventure receive theirs free. Bring your own motorcycle and you can purchase yours for $10.
You have nothing to lose by starting. You may find a new favorite road along the way.
Getting Started Is Simple
1. Choose Your Challenge
Pick the ride challenge you want to pursue. Signing up is free, and there’s no obligation to finish.
2. Sign Up for the Challenge
Reserve the free Long Way Challenge Experience through Riders Share. Renting from us? Add it to your motorcycle reservation.

3. Receive Your Challenge Instructions
You’ll receive route guidance, photo locations, and verification details at check-in.
4. Ride Your Way
One day or six months—it’s up to you. There are no group rides, pace requirements, or deadlines.
5. Verify Completion
Complete the required photo post on social media.
6. Earn the Reward
Renters who complete the challenge earn their shirt free. Riding your own motorcycle? Finishers can purchase theirs for $10.
