We use Riders Share because it provides a level of protection, flexibility, and support that simply isn’t possible with independent rentals.
Through Riders Share, every rental includes:
• Professionally managed insurance options
• 24/7 roadside assistance
• Secure payments and deposits
• Customer support before, during, and after your ride
While this does come with platform service fees, those fees fund the protections and services that make your rental experience safer, smoother, and more flexible—for both you and us.
Riders Share applies platform service fees at checkout. These fees can feel significant if you’re not expecting them, which is why we believe in being upfront.
These fees may include:
• Platform service fees
• Insurance or damage protection plan (required)
• Optional add-ons you select
Important: These fees are set and collected by Riders Share—not by us—and they support insurance coverage, roadside assistance, customer support, and payment security.
Yes. All renters must select a liability and damage protection plan offered through Riders Share.
This is:
• A Riders Share requirement
• A requirement for our motorcycles
• Not replaceable by personal motorcycle insurance
Personal policies are not accepted, even if you carry full coverage. Riders Share insurance is specifically designed for rentals and protects both the rider and the motorcycle owner.
Riders Share offers multiple protection plans so you can choose the level of coverage that fits your comfort level and riding plans. These options often include:
• Liability coverage
• Collision and damage protection
• Roadside assistance
Choosing higher coverage often reduces your out-of-pocket responsibility in the event of damage.
You must be at least 25 years old to rent one of our motorcycles.
This is a firm requirement.
You must have:
• A valid motorcycle endorsement
• A physical license card (temporary paper licenses or permits are not accepted)
We do accept:
• U.S. licenses with a motorcycle endorsement
• International driver’s licenses, provided they include a motorcycle endorsement
No. Motorcycle permits or learner’s permits are not accepted under Riders Share requirements.
A few additional things to keep in mind:
• You must be able to safely operate the motorcycle you reserve
• You are responsible for selecting the correct insurance option
• All bookings, payments, and insurance selections are handled directly through Riders Share
If you ever have questions before booking, we’re happy to help walk you through the process.
Booking through Riders Share gives you:
• Access to insurance that would otherwise be unavailable
• Clear policies and documented protections
• Roadside assistance
• Secure payments and verified renter profiles
These services protect you and us, and allow us to offer high-quality motorcycles with confidence.
Yes. Rider Share automatically applies multi-day pricing, so the longer your reservation, the lower the average daily rate tends to be. You’ll see the full breakdown before confirming your booking on Rider Share.
All reservations through Rider Share are based on 24-hour rental periods. Your pick-up and drop-off times matter when selecting dates. If the motorcycle is returned beyond the original 24-hour window, Rider Share may apply an additional day’s rental, even if the overage is only a couple of hours. We recommend choosing pick-up and drop-off times carefully to avoid unexpected charges.
